THIS IS NOT A T-SHIRT – THIS IS AN EFFORT TO RAISE MONEY AND AWARENESS ABOUT THE SITUATION OF PEOPLE IN NEED IN SOUTHERN TURKEY, SYRIA AND KURDISTAN REGION.

 

On February 6, 2023, southern Turkey, northern and western Syria and Kurdistan region were hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. More than 50,000 people lost their lives and 100,000 were injured. Some 6 million survivors lost shelter and still have limited access to drinking water and basic necessities. 

 

Although over three months have passed since the first earthquake, the NGOs in the region underline that the need for monetary support and volunteers remains urgent. 

 

We, @_____thek collective & @29__tl, collaborated with local and international artists, including the children from the region and designed the Solidarity t-shirt. It's a humble effort to raise money and continued awareness. It is also our commitment to stand with the victims of the earthquake.
